Wellbeing
Meet Raylee Wild, our Counsellor – here to support every student’s journey with care, compassion, and expert guidance.
At All Saints Anglican School we believe that student wellbeing is foundational to learning and growth. Our Wellbeing Team takes a holistic, student-centred approach, working in partnership with families, teachers, Learning Support, Heads of School, and our full-time Coordinator of Faith and Mission to nurture each child’s emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.
Our team is on-site full-time and available to support students throughout the school day. We focus on restorative practices, encouraging respectful communication, empathy, and accountability in resolving conflicts and building relationships. Group work is also a key part of our approach, helping students develop social skills, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
A cornerstone of our wellbeing program is the MacKillop Seasons for Growth initiative. This evidence-based program supports children and young people in understanding and managing experiences of grief, loss, and major change. Through age-appropriate activities and guided conversations, students learn to express their feelings, build coping strategies, and find hope and healing in a safe and supportive environment.
We also actively participate in key wellbeing events throughout the year, such as R U OK? Day, which fosters a culture of care, connection, and mental health awareness across our school community.
Importantly, our wellbeing program is designed to complement the care students receive outside of school. While our team is not the sole or primary contact for many students, we work closely with external professionals and support networks to ensure continuity of care. Our role is to support students within the educational setting, helping them feel safe, understood, and empowered to thrive.
