Senior School (Years 10-12)

Senior School at All Saints will be a vibrant and future-focused learning environment where students are empowered to take ownership of their education, explore their passions, and prepare for life beyond school. Spanning Years 10 to 12, our Senior School is designed to support academic excellence, personal growth, and leadership development.

A Progressive Pathway to VCE

All Saints Anglican School is transitioning to the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), with a staged implementation beginning in 2027. This approach ensures a smooth and well-supported journey for students and families.

Academic Excellence and Student Choice

Senior School students will engage in a rigorous and diverse curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE standards. As students progress, they will gain increasing autonomy in their learning through:

  • Elective subjects beginning in Year 8
  • Specialist pathways in Years 10–12
  • VCE subject selection and planning support
  • Subject information nights for families

Our curriculum is designed to challenge students academically while allowing them to pursue areas of interest and strength.

Students will be offered the opportunity to undertake a purely academic pathwaytowards achieving an ATAR, a vocational pathway that includes the vocational major, or a blend of both.

Leadership and Personal Development

Senior School students are encouraged to grow as leaders and contributors to their community. Opportunities include:

  • Leadership Program
  • Student Representative Council (SRC)
  • Peer mentoring and buddy programs
  • Public speaking, debating, and service projects

These experiences will help students develop confidence, responsibility, and a sense of purpose.

Technology and Future Readiness

Students in Senior School bring their own portable digital devices, which are used to access learning platforms, collaborate on projects, and develop digital literacy. Our technology program supports:

  • Individualised learning
  • Creative expression
  • Preparation for tertiary education and the workforce

Sport, Arts, and Co-Curricular Life

Senior School students will continue to participate in a rich co-curricular program, including:

  • Competitive and recreational sport
  • Performing and visual arts
  • Music ensembles and productions
  • Clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities

These programs foster teamwork, creativity, and a balanced school experience.

Looking Ahead

As we expand our Senior School year by year, we remain committed to delivering a high-quality, values-based education that prepares students for success in VCE and beyond. Our Head of Teaching and Learning will work closely with staff, students, and families to ensure a personalised and empowering experience for every learner.
