Middle School (Years 5-7)

Approach

Our priority is to develop and maintain a safe and positive learning environment to ensure your child is best placed to reach their potential.

Curriculum

The curriculum is based on the Victorian Curriculum, with the timetable being structured on a fortnightly basis. Each session of teaching is 45 minutes, with 7 sessions making up the day; many of those sessions will be longer, at 90 or 135 minutes blocks of time.

Technology

We incorporate digital technology into the classroom to assist with individualising learning, encourage creativity, and prepare our students for a rapidly changing future.

In Middle School, students are required to bring their own portable computer to school. The devices will use the school network to access necessary learning software.

Sport

We introduce our Middle School students to more complex skills and challenges to help them recognise their capabilities and potential.

Our Physical Education Team are experts at supporting enthusiasm and helping young people achieve their personal best.

“You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own highest standards, and when you reach your limits, that is real joy.”
— Arthur Ashe (Tennis)
