Houses

At All Saints Anglican School, our House System is a vital part of school life, designed to foster connection, collaboration, and community spirit. It divides our student body into four vibrant houses, each with its own identity, values, and colour.

Why a House System?

The House System creates a family-like environment where students:

  • Build strong, supportive relationships across year levels
  • Receive guidance and mentorship from dedicated house leaders
  • Collaborate and compete in a wide range of activities
  • Develop a sense of pride and belonging

How It Works

  • Every student is assigned to one of four houses upon enrolment.
  • Siblings are placed in the same house.
  • Students are evenly distributed across houses by year level and gender.
  • Each house is led by a staff member who acts as a mentor and guide.

Throughout the year, houses compete in:

  • 🏃‍♂️ Sporting events
  • 🧠 Academic challenges
  • 🎭 Cultural and creative competitions

Points are awarded for participation and achievement, and the house with the most points at the end of the year is crowned the House Champion.

House Colours & Identity

Our students helped shape the future of All Saints Anglican School by selecting meaningful house names and colours that reflect the spirit of Shepparton and its Indigenous heritage. The houses are:

  • Eucalypt - Green – representing the resilience of native flora
  • Ochre - Yellow – symbolising cultural richness and tradition
  • River - Turquoise – reflecting the life-giving rivers of our region
  • Ember - Pink – inspired by the flowering eucalypt, a symbol of renewal

What the House System Offers

At All Saints Anglican School, the House System provides:

  • A sense of belonging and identity
  • Opportunities for leadership and teamwork
  • A platform to celebrate diversity and talent
  • A legacy that students help shape and grow
